We walked through the neighborhoods to visit St. George's Castle. The castle was interesting to explore, since we were able to climb the slippery stone steps to walk along the outer walls. We were also able to see some good views of Lisbon.
After the castle, we made our way to the Baixa district, which is known for having straight streets, since most of Lisbon was destroyed in an earthquake in 1755. We did some browsing and ate lunch.
We also visited several large squares in the area, Praca Dom Pedro IV, Praca Dom Joao Da Camara, Praca Dos Restauradores, and Praca Da Figueira.
