Matt and I went to Springs Preserve last week, which is where there is a natural spring in the desert. There are walking trails, a garden, a museum, and a small collection of desert animals. We started with the museum which has information about Nevada and the desert. The picture below is of Matt in the flash floods exhibit.
The museum also does traveling exhibits. We were able to look at inventions by Da Vinci.
Then we went outside to look at the animals and walk through the garden.
There was a map of the west on the ground and of course we have to represent home.
After the garden we went on a walk around the spring.
