On our last day in Berlin we take the bus to the airport and check in for our KLM flight to Amsterdam. We arrive in Amsterdam and take the free shuttle to our hotel to drop our bags off. Then we take the shuttle back to the airport and buy tickets for the train ride into central Amsterdam. We only have a few hours to explore the canal lined city, but we make the most of it by walking the streets, visiting kitsch stores, eating french fries with mayo, and taking pictures of the canals. Our small glimpse into Amsterdam is enough for us to plan a full visit in the future.
