Adventure #156

Our only stop on the cruise was to New Providence Island in the Bahamas. As the ship was coming into port we could see Atlantis Hotel on Paradise Island.



We got off the boat and explored the town of Nassau.






We walked to The Queen's Staircase, which was carved out of solid limestone in 1793.







After the stairs we walked to the beach. We met some of the natives along the way.



We stopped at two beaches. Not sure of their names. We ate lunch, read our books, and enjoyed the sunshine. I braved the cold ocean water and Matt joined me for a while. So happy to be at the beach.
