We started our next day in London by visiting the Tower of London, which is chalk full British history since the castle's initial construction was in 1066. We were able to view the White Tower, the Crown Jewels, and we saw the six ravens that live at the tower.
Our tour guide and Yeoman Warder who gave us an excellent brief history of the Tower of London. I have a huge respect for the guardians of the tower since in order to be a Yeoman Warder they must have served 22 years and retired from the Armed Forces.

Then we walked across Tower Bridge and found a delicious lunch of fish n' chips.
After we walked through the British Museum, which is a gorgeous building. We saw many works of art and artifacts. We were even able to view the Rosetta Stone. Matt inquired about a piece called 'The Great Wave' by artist Katsushika Hokusai, which we could not find displayed anywhere. It turns out the piece is so fragile you have to specially request to view it. We plan on a second visit to view the piece one day since it is part of Matt's Japanese heritage.
