On a previous trip, Matt and I climbed the steps of the Campanile or tower next to the Duomo. So this time we paid to climb the steps of the dome. The next picture is of the walkway around the dome.

After the Duomo we visited Basilica San Lorenzo and Santa Maria Novella. We also walked through the flea market for a little shopping. We ate dinner at a place called Le Straioni. Matt and I shared prosciutto, four cheese pasta, and a pizza, of course.
