Adventure #117
Matt and I hiked to Desolation Lake yesterday. It was so nice to be in the mountains. The trees were beautiful. We were also greeted by many bugs, squirrels, chipmunks, butterflies that kept trying to dive bomb us, and I even spotted a marmot. He was so cute. We made it to the lake and enjoyed some beef jerky and peanuts. How come hiking food always tastes amazing?

My favorite hiking destination! Daren is going to do the aide station at Desolation Lake for the Wasatch 100. Matt is going to be part of his crew. Alas, I will have had a baby only the week before and won't be going.
