Adventure #157

Matt and I were finally able to make a day trip to San Francisco this week. We have tried to get back to the city many times in the past few years, however the flights have never been good. I was very excited since San Francisco is one of my favorite places. We flew into Oakland and rode the BART to Powell Street. We walked through Union Square and into Chinatown.

We wandered past the financial district and Coit Tower, making our way to Mama's, a little restaurant famous for their breakfast. It was our first time at Mama's and the food was super good. We basically shared french toast and an omelet.

After lunch we made our way to Fisherman's Warf and Pier 39. We watched the seals for a while and bought some crab meat to share while we walked along the pier. Matt found a candy store and filled a bag with treats. We made our way back to Union Square for a little shopping and then took the BART to SFO. Our plane had only 60 seats and was not even close to half full. I hope this is a good sign and means we can make it back to San Francisco again soon.
