Adventure #140

On day three in Hong Kong, Matt and I rode the metro to Lantau Island. This is a picture of me on the metro with our Octopus Card, which allowed us to tap on and off the metro. Notice how clean the train is also. They mean business.
We got off the metro to ride the four mile long sky tram, which went over the ocean and into the cloud covered mountains. It was beautiful and so much fun.
We walked through the shops and made our way to the giant statue of Buddha and the Po Lin Monastery.
We ate lunch and bought some treats. Then made our way to ride the Sky Tram back, which we had all to ourselves.
We did some shopping at the outlet mall and rode the metro back to the city, where we did some more exploring. Oh, it started raining again.
