Adventure #90

On our last day in Munich Matt and I went to the Residenz. The Residenz is a large palace inside the city where the Wittelsbach family lived. So basically this place is massive. Every time the next king came into power he added more rooms onto the building. Then his wife would redecorate everything. So to say the least we walked through a lot of rooms. Some rooms were still original, however most had been destroyed during WWII.

After the Residenz, Matt and I took the tram to Schloss Nymphenburg, another large palace on acres of land. We bought tickets to explore the main house and various buildings on the property.

After a day of all palaces we were ready to head back to our hotel. We packed our bags and left for home the next morning. We made all our flights and returned safely. Until the next travel adventure of Polar Bear and Barbie.
